Terms of Use

1. Acceptance & eligibility

By creating an account or using AppliCand you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and located in the United States. If you use AppliCand for an organization, you represent that you may bind it to these Terms.

2. What AppliCand does

AppliCand analyzes job postings, surfaces likely hiring managers and recruiters, reveals business-contact information using credits, and provides guided outreach tools (scripts, email drafts, LinkedIn notes) and tracking. AppliCand does not send emails, place calls, or contact anyone for you — you conduct all outreach yourself from your own accounts and devices.

3. Outreach compliance — your responsibility

This is important. You are solely responsible for all outreach you conduct using information from AppliCand, and you agree to comply with all applicable laws, including:

• the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and federal/state Do-Not-Call rules;
• all call-recording / two-party consent laws before recording any call;
• the CAN-SPAM Act and anti-spam laws for email;
• the platform terms of any service you use (including LinkedIn) and any applicable privacy laws.

4. Acceptable use of data

Contact information is provided for your own legitimate outreach only. You may not resell, redistribute, scrape, build marketing lists from, or otherwise misuse it, and you may not use AppliCand to violate anyone's rights or any law.

5. Credits, plans & payments

Some features cost credits. Free, Plus, and Pro plans include credit allotments; paid plans renew until canceled. Credit costs and plan details are shown in-app and may change. Except where required by law or expressly stated (for example, our bad-phone-data credit refund), credits and subscription fees are non-refundable. Payments are processed by Stripe.

6. Accounts

Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the service.

7. Disclaimers

AppliCand is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that inferred contacts are correct, that contact data is accurate or current, or that outreach will result in interviews or offers. AppliCand is not a career, legal, or compliance advisor.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AppliCand is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold AppliCand harmless from claims arising out of your outreach, your use of contact data, or your violation of these Terms or any law — including any claim under the TCPA, call-recording, anti-spam, or privacy laws.

10. Changes, governing law & contact

We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which AppliCand operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions? legal@applicand.com.
